Carbon reporting is complex
Sustainable procurement depends on managing direct and indirect emissions, but tracking and reporting is complex and time-consuming, especially for tail-spend goods. And itʼs tough to comply with regulations when youʼre managing unreliable and incomparable data from suppliers and other sources.
Our CO2 reporting makes it simple
Generic CO2 data is available for all ordered items on Unite, so you get quick and accurate emission information without tech investments or time-consuming supplier engagement. Whatʼs more, our method is transparent and compliant with international carbon accounting standards.
Support your sustainability strategy
Our CO2 reporting is in line with Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG) Scope 3 and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), helping you meet regulations and stay compliant.
Understand your impact
Get quick results and comparable carbon footprint data for accurate analysis of your Unite order history.
Approved by experts
We worked with scientists to develop our method, giving you accurate, reliable data that meets industry standards.
Focus your strategy
Identify specific product groups driving emissions, so you can focus on key areas to reduce your footprint.
Keep costs down
Our CO2 reporting is available for free and doesnʼt require an ongoing investment to keep track of your emissions.
With Unite, procurement professionals gain transparency into the greenhouse gas emissions of their purchased goods, providing them with the data they need to meet new reporting requirements and decarbonise their supply chain.
The method behind the data
- We use the Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) method, which provides generic emissions data for everything you buy from Unite.
- For every euro spent, your goods are allocated a CO2e intensity factor that covers cradle-to-gate emissions.
- Youʼll also get an accuracy score from 0 to 100 that helps you combine different data sources and evaluate the data quality.
Our approach ensures your CO2 reports are precise and compliant, so you can demonstrate your sustainability efforts and make more informed decisions.
We have explained our method in more detail here.
