Join our international customer service team as a Customer Service Representative, where you’ll serve as the first point of contact for our English-speaking customers. You'll play a key role in delivering exceptional support by addressing inquiries related to orders, account issues, and general service needs.
Your role
- Customer communication & relationship building: You'll engage with customers in a professional, structured, and empathetic manner. You'll also communicate clearly across various stakeholders, handling sensitive situations with patience and care.
- Problem solving & issue resolution: You'll take ownership of customer problems, drive resolution and work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure customer issues are resolved efficiently.
- Process & SLA adherence: You'll work within structured workflows and adhere to SLAs to ensure high-quality service delivery. You'll also maintain consistency across service tickets and communications.
- Bridge between customers and suppliers: You'll act as a trusted intermediary between customers and our supplier network, translating customer needs into clear supplier requests and ensuring timely, value-aligned responses.
- Self-directed learning & initiative: You'd demonstrate a growth mindset by actively learning our platform, marketplace mechanics, and customer workflows. You'd also leverage self-help resources to support learning.
Your qualifications
- Communication skills: You've strong verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging to a professional, structured environment.
- Languages: You're fluent in English and have at least an A2 level in German, enabling you to handle daily communication with confidence.
- Problem-solving skills: You've got a demonstrated ability to solve problems and work through ambiguity, and proven empathy and patience when managing customer-facing situations.
- Ownership mindset: You can follow through on tasks and deliver outcomes. You have a highly willing and enthusiastic attitude toward joining and contributing to a fast-paced team.
- Customer service experience: You've prior experience in any customer-facing or operational role (public sector exposure is a plus).
- Exposure to procurement processes and workflows: You've an understanding of procurement, commercial operations, or public sector procurement workflows. Experience in marketplace environments and familiarity with B2B or B2G business models is a strong advantage.
