As the Head of Acquisition (B2B), you will be responsible for leading and executing all aspects of customer acquisition for the business-to-business and business-to government (B2B/G) segment. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive acquisition strategies to drive revenue growth, expand the customer base, and increase market share. You will work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment and drive results.

Your role

  • Shape growth: You develop and execute the overall B2B/G customer acquisition strategy to meet business goals and targets
  • Market orientation: You identify and evaluate new business opportunities, markets, and target segments for B2B/G customer acquisition
  • Anticipate the future: You conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth
  • Engage stakeholders: You collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective B2B/G lead generation campaigns
  • Live the network: You build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and industry influencers to drive customer acquisition initiatives
  • Think strategically: You develop and manage B2B/G sales pipelines, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing deals
  • Live leadership: You provide leadership and direction to the acquisition team, including setting performance targets, monitoring progress, and providing feedback
  • Holistic thinking: You analyze and report on acquisition metrics, sales data, and market trends to inform strategy and drive continuous improvement

Your qualifications

  • Strong background: You have proven experience in B2B/G customer acquisition, preferably in a leadership role
  • Sales experience: You have knowledge of the B2B/G landscape, industry trends, and customer acquisition best practices
  • Results-orientated: You show a strong understanding of B2B/G sales and marketing strategies, with a track record of driving results and meeting or exceeding targets
  • Professional attitude: You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • On the pulse: You bring an analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
  • Leadership: You are experienced in motivating and inspiring a team to achieve their goals
  • Technology landscape: You are familiar with CRM software, marketing automation tools, and other relevant technologies
