Product Manager – AI & Delivery (gn)

Product Management
Leipzig (DE), Munich (DE), Hybrid
Permanent position

You love untangling complexity — and you want to make sure things actually go live.

As Product Manager – AI & Delivery (gn), you take on operational product responsibility at Unite and ensure that strategic product visions turn into real, measurable outcomes. You work closely with strategic product management and bring the defined target vision and product architecture into reality.

Want to shape the future of procurement? At Unite, we’ve been working for over 25 years to make purchasing in the private and public sectors efficient, sustainable and compliant. We offer organisations a trusted alternative to non-European procurement platforms – strengthening local value creation and keeping data where it belongs. More than 700 employees around the world contribute to Unite’s development, bringing diverse perspectives and a strong sense of responsibility. Does this sound like you? Join us as we take procurement to the next level.

Your role

  •  From strategy to execution: You take ownership of operational product management — translating product architecture and vision into clearly defined concepts, guiding pilots through to rollout, and consistently tracking impact afterwards.
  • Creating clarity: You turn complex requirements into concrete work packages and decision papers — enabling Engineering and business teams to deliver with minimal friction.
  • Helping shape AI products: Part of the product scope you will own includes AI-driven features and solutions — from concept to rollout. You have a good sense of what AI can deliver in a procurement context and where its limits lie.
  • Managing dependencies: You identify early where technical, functional, or organizational dependencies may block progress — and resolve them before they escalate.
  • Working across functions: You are the central interface between Engineering, Design, Strategy, and business stakeholders — bringing all relevant parties together in a structured and committed way.

Your qualifications

  • Experience in a product environment: You have experience in product management, technical project management, or consulting in software or platform environments — or you bring experience from a role that has prepared you well for this challenge, for example in UX, software development, analytical business functions, startups, or the procurement environment.
  • An analytical mindset with drive: You quickly grasp complex topics, think in a structured way, and do not stop at analysis — you want to deliver, not just plan.
  • Understanding of AI in product development: You know how AI features work and what they can deliver, and you can translate that into concrete product decisions. You do not need to be an engineer, but you understand what is happening under the hood.
  • A strength for structure: You are skilled at structuring ambiguous requirements, making open questions visible, and bringing stakeholders together in a clear and binding way.
  • Clear communication: You explain complex matters in a simple way and communicate persuasively as an equal partner — both in writing and verbally, in German and English.
