As we continue to grow in France, we’re looking for a Sales Development Representative who is driven, curious, and commercially minded to join our local team of 6 people known for strong collaboration and team spirit.

As an Sales Development Representative, you will play a key role in driving new customer acquisition for Unite Procurement France. You will work in direct partnership with an Account Executive to identify and engage prospects, generate opportunities, and build a strong pipeline. Your main focus will be outbound prospecting, discovery, and qualification — enabling the AE to lead advanced meetings and closing.

As you grow in the role and demonstrate strong results, you may gradually take on more responsibilities, including managing smaller accounts end‑to‑end (from demo to negotiation and closing). This gives you the opportunity to grow into a more complete sales role over time

Your role

Lead Generation & Prospecting
  • Identify and engage potential customers through outbound calls, email outreach, and LinkedIn.
  • Research organisations to understand procurement needs and potential opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects.
Customer Discovery
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand challenges, processes, and purchasing behaviour.
  • Qualify opportunities and identify where Unite provides value.
Product Demonstrations
  • Deliver online demonstrations of the Unite platform on selected opportunities.
  • Explain how the platform simplifies procurement, improves compliance, and reduces costs.
Negotiation & Closing (progressively)
  • Support prospects through their decision-making process.
  • Address objections and assist with negotiations.
  • Convert qualified prospects into new customers (on selected smaller accounts).
CRM & Pipeline Management
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all prospect interactions in the CRM.
  • Track pipeline progress and ensure reliable reporting.
Collaboration
  • Work closely with Account Executives and Customer Success to ensure a smooth handover after closing.

Your qualifications

Experience
  • Ideally 1–3 years in Sales Development, Business Development, or B2B sales.
  • Experience in SaaS, marketplaces, or procurement environments is a plus.
Skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Confident delivering product demonstrations.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and develop opportunities.
  • Highly organised with strong CRM discipline.
  • Fluent in French and English.
Personal Attributes
  • Self‑motivated and target‑driven.
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting.
  • Curious and eager to learn about procurement and customer needs.
