As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), your role is pivotal in driving revenue growth by building a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities. You will work closely with the marketing and sales teams on strategic lead generation and segmentation in both B2G and B2B markets. Your goal is to identify prospects who are genuinely interested and gather relevant information about their needs, guiding them through the sales funnel until they're qualified and ready to be passed on to a Customer Account Manager for further engagement and conversion.

- Prospecting: You'll identify and qualify potential leads through various channels such as phone calls, email outreach, and social media to generate new business opportunities
- Lead qualification: You'll assess the suitability of leads based on predefined criteria to determine their level of interest and likelihood of conversion into sales opportunities
- Relationship building: You'll build rapport and establish trust with prospects by understanding their needs, challenges, and objectives, effectively communicating the value proposition of the product or service
- Sales enablement: You'll collaborate with sales teams to provide them with qualified leads and relevant information to facilitate the sales process and achieve revenue targets
- Continuous learning: You'll stay updated on industry trends, product features, and sales techniques to enhance performance, adapt to evolving market conditions, and drive continuous improvement in sales effectiveness
Your qualifications
- Qualification skills: You're proficient in assessing the suitability of leads by understanding their needs, budget, timeline, and decision-making process to determine their potential as Qualified Customer Leads
- Communication skills: You have strong verbal and written communication skills to establish and nurture relationships with Qualified Customer Leads, effectively convey value propositions, and handle objections
- Time management and organisation: You excel in pipeline management, maintaining structure to track sales progress and prioritise leads for a steady flow of qualified opportunities
- Collaboration skills: You have the capacity to work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams, sharing insights, aligning strategies, and optimising the lead generation and conversion process for achieving sales targets
- Sales tools: You're proficient in using CRM software to manage leads and track sales activities
