We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Head of Supplier Performance Management to lead the transformation of our local supplier performance teams across the Northern, Southern, and Eastern European regions. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing a high-performing, cross-border team that takes ownership of local marketplace performance, enabling sustainable growth and excellence in service delivery. If you are passionate about empowering people, driving results, and shaping supplier ecosystems in diverse and evolving markets, we’d love to hear from you!
Your role
- Set direction and drive results: You’ll define clear goals, align with sales and marketplace objectives, and lead with transparency through consistent KPI monitoring and reporting.
- Develop and empower your team: You’ll train, mentor, and enable supplier performance managers to own and optimise local strategies – balancing people development with performance outcomes.
- Drive strategic market development: You’ll guide local teams in supporting vertical market initiatives and adapting strategies to complex and heterogeneous local supplier environments.
- Ensure operational excellence: You’ll oversee and continuously improve the use of data, tools, and methods that enable focused, data-driven supplier management across highly diverse markets.
- Foster cross-border collaboration: You’ll build a culture of learning and mutual support across the region, ensuring feedback loops and shared insights with global teams.
Your qualifications
- Experienced in B2B/B2G supplier management: You bring deep expertise in procurement or supplier performance within e-commerce environments, ideally across multiple regions.
- People-first leadership mindset: You know that sustained performance begins with empowered people, and you have a track record of developing high-performing teams through empathy, clarity, and support.
- Analytical and adaptable: You understand how to apply and evolve performance tools and reporting structures in complex, fragmented markets.
- Curious and collaborative: You’re open-minded, creative, and committed to helping others grow, actively supporting team members through challenges and change.
- Multilingual communicator and connector: You communicate clearly and convincingly in English (required), ideally in German, and can build strong networks across countries and functions. Other European languages are a plus.
