Unite achieves ISO certifications for quality and information security

Unite, the European procurement platform for the private and public sectors, has achieved certification to ISO 9001:2015 for its quality management system and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for its information security management system.

Unite, the European procurement platform for the private and public sectors, has achieved certification to ISO 9001:2015 for its quality management system and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for its information security management system. The accredited certification body DQS GmbH conducted a two-stage audit of the processes and responsibilities involved in developing, providing and operating Unite’s procurement platform.

Unite has obtained independent certification of its quality and information security management systems. DQS GmbH has confirmed that Unite Holding SE has established and maintains quality and information security management systems that meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 respectively, within the defined scope of certification. DQS GmbH is a certification body officially accredited by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS).

“As a platform, we bring different parties together and have a responsibility to ensure the quality of our services and protect information. Our clients and partners want assurance that we are meeting these responsibilities, backed by reliable, verifiable evidence. This is particularly important for public sector clients,” explains Frank Weigelt, Vice President Legal at Unite. “These certifications provide independent confirmation that our management systems meet internationally recognised standards and make it easier for our customers and partners to assess our credentials in international procurement processes.”

The scope of certification covers the development, provision and operation of an e-procurement platform with an integrated marketplace, together with the associated service and support activities for businesses and public sector clients. The quality management system helps Unite manage requirements systematically, monitor its processes and implement improvements.

The information security management system provides a framework for managing information security risks and protecting information and systems within the certified scope.
