Are you commercially driven, fluent in Dutch, and passionate about building strong supplier relationships? At Unite, we're looking for a Supplier Account Manager to join our dynamic team and take our supplier network in the Netherlands and Belgium to the next level. This is not a traditional procurement role – it’s all about strategic sales, partnership building, and operational excellence. You will play a key role in expanding and managing our supplier base on the Unite platform, aligning supplier offerings with customer demand, and driving revenue through high-impact collaborations. From onboarding to negotiation and performance optimisation – you’ll be the engine behind supplier success.
Your role
- Grow the supplier base: You'll identify, approach, and convince new suppliers to join the Unite Network and Spotmarket. You know how to sell value and build trust.
- Manage key relationships: You'll own a portfolio of supplier accounts, strengthen existing partnerships, and drive growth through strategic collaboration.
- Shape category success: You'll match supplier capabilities with customer needs and category opportunities, supporting business growth with insight-led sourcing decisions.
- Negotiate & close: You'll lead commercial negotiations, balancing mutual value creation with strong commercial controls – often in cooperation with our international Key Account teams.
- Optimise operations: You'll ensure seamless onboarding, catalogue integration, and continuous improvement of procurement workflows.
- Collaborate across functions: You'll work closely with Customer Success, Sales, and Operations to align goals and share supplier insights.
- Be creative: You'll contribute ideas, challenge the status quo, and help redefine B2B commerce with every supplier interaction.
Your qualifications
- Sales-first mindset: You’re commercially sharp, proactive in outreach, and understand how to create win-win supplier partnerships.
- Procurement know-how (a plus): While not your core, you've got experience with supplier contracting, category management or sourcing adds value.
- Languages: You're fluent in Dutch (a must). You also communicate confidently in English.
- Communication skills: You persuade, engage and guide – both one-on-one and in stakeholder groups.
- Analytical thinking: You work in a structured, data-driven way and are comfortable using BI and CRM tools to steer success.
- Independent and collaborative: You thrive with autonomy but understand the power of cross-functional teamwork.
- Flexibility to travel: You're willing to visit suppliers, customers, and Unite offices across the region and beyond.
