Information for suppliers

Welcome to our support page for the upcoming changes related to our rebranding from Mercateo to Unite. This page provides all the essential information about the company name change.

What is changing?

Our legal entity name will change from Mercateo UK Ltd. to Unite Procurement UK Ltd. in early 2025. We will provide the exact date via email as soon as it is finalised.

Once the change is effective, all invoices and business correspondence will be issued under the new name, Unite Procurement UK Ltd.

What you need to do

Once notified, you’ll need to update your systems to reflect the new company name. Refer to the table below to see which changes apply to you.

Changing the company name

Once the company name change comes into effect, you will need to change the name of your debtor from Mercateo UK Ltd. to Unite Procurement UK Ltd.
Although it’s unlikely, if your system requires the creation of a new debtor, please inform us by 11 November 2024 at support@unite.eu.

Updating your delivery note

Download the new logo here.
Update the new company name and logo in your delivery note.

Updating your shipping label

Update the company name and logo (if applicable) on your shipping label.
Download the new logo here.
The address remains unchanged.

Using Mercateo-branded packaging tape

Continue using the current Mercateo tape until it runs out.
Reorders will feature the Unite logo.

Notifying your trade credit insurer

Inform your insurer about the name change.
We will notify trade credit insurers in advance.

What will not change?

All other master data, besides the company name, remains unchanged, as shown in the table below. There will also be no changes to the management board members, ownership structure, or legal form of the company.

FAQs: your questions answered

I can't change the company name without creating a new debtor. What should I do?

If your system doesn't allow for a name change without creating a new account, please contact us at support@unite.eu by 11 November 2024. We will assist you in resolving this.

I need an official letter regarding this change. What should I do?

Please contact your Unite representative or email info.uk@unite.eu if you require an official letter. We will provide the necessary documentation once the change is finalised.

What will the new company name be?

The new name is Unite Procurement UK Ltd. Only the company name changes; all other master data will remain the same.

In our company, it's a fixed business process to request new master data and a bank confirmation when there are changes to our customers. Who can I send these forms to?

Is the VAT ID changing?

No, it remains the same, as shown in the table above.

Is the billing address changing?

No.

Is the bank account information changing?

No.

Is the Commercial Register number changing?
