Our IP address is changing

Read more about the upcoming change to Unite’s primary public IP address, including key dates, technical details and what action you may need to take.

What’s changing?

We’re modernising our internet connection at our data centre to significantly improve performance, security and reliability – increasing bandwidth capacity and ensuring a more stable connection.
As part of this, our primary public IP address will change.

What you need to do

Depending on how you connect to Unite, one or both of the following actions may apply:

1. Update your firewall allow list

If your systems use a firewall allow list, you need to add the new IP ranges before the change takes place.

  • Check whether your system uses a firewall allow list.

  • Add the new IP ranges (see IP address details below).

Important: If you don’t update your firewall allow list, your technical connection to Unite might stop working. This will directly affect your ability to do business with us.

2. Update the IP address in your system

If you have a direct integration with Unite – for example via an interface or Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) connection – you’ll also need to update the IP address configured in your system.

  • Replace the old IP address with the new primary IP address in your system settings.

  • Verify that your IT connection to Unite still works correctly after the change date.
