As Supplier Performance Manager for the Netherlands and Belgium markets, you are responsible for the holistic development of our marketplace, with a particular focus on assortment, supplier performance, and market potential. You manage suppliers across all trade levels, develop strategic partnerships, and ensure that assortment, quality, and performance are consistently aligned with the needs of our customers. In this role, you work closely with the local market team in the Netherlands – in particular with the Director of Sales and the Customer Success Manager. At the same time, you are part of the international Supplier Performance Management Team for the NSEE region, which is anchored within the Marketplace Performance Team. This allows you to combine local market expertise with international performance management, actively contributing to the ongoing development of our marketplace.

Your role

  • Taking ownership: You take responsibility for the holistic view of the marketplace in the Netherlands and Belgium, serve as the central point of contact for our suppliers, and support contract negotiations as well as regular performance reviews.
  • Keeping an eye on performance and quality: You monitor relevant KPIs such as price competitiveness, delivery reliability, and return rates, and derive targeted measures to optimize performance accordingly.
  • Thinking holistically: You analyze existing assortments, identify potentials and assortment gaps, and collaborate with suppliers to further develop a competitive, customer-oriented offering.
  • Making data-driven decisions: You work confidently with reports, key figures, and analysis tools, and present results in a target-audience-appropriate way to derive well-founded recommendations for action for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Thinking internationally: As part of the international Supplier Performance Management Team for the NSEE region, you contribute best practices, support regional objectives, and proactively monitor market and competitive developments.
  • Working in a connected way: You collaborate closely with the local market team in the Netherlands as well as internal interfaces such as Operations, Marketing, and Supplier Onboarding, ensuring efficient information management.

Your qualifications

  • Your expertise: You have already gained initial experience in supplier management, purchasing, or category management – ideally in B2B/B2G e-commerce or a marketplace-related environment.
  • Analytical thinking: You have a strong analytical mindset, are confident working with KPIs, reports, and digital tools, and purposefully use data as the basis for decisions and recommendations.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: You think holistically and entrepreneurially, keep an eye on the overall market, and drive improvements independently and in a solution-oriented manner.
  • Acting internationally: You are comfortable operating in an international environment and connect local market requirements with regional objectives.
  • Convincing presence: You impress with strong communication skills and negotiation expertise when dealing with internal and external stakeholders, and present complex topics in a clear and understandable way.
  • Language skills: You have excellent proficiency in Dutch and English. Good German language skills are a plus.
  • Flexibility and mobility: You are willing to travel for supplier visits, trade fairs, and team meetings.
